July Wrap Up

Our July gathering was another great success and I just wanted to take a moment and express some thanks to a few folks that helped make our gathering so wonderful.

First, I’d like to say a big Thank you to the Copper Grill (@CopperGrill). You were fantastic hosts. The food and free appetizers were delicious and you went above and beyond all our expectations. Personally, this was my first visit to your restaurant and I can assure you that I can’t wait to return. Thank you for hosting such a great LRTweetup.

We always like to encourage or members to rate and review the venues that we visit. So if you’d like to rate your experience at the Copper Grill please visit them on UrbanSpoon and/or Yelp.

Second, I’d like to thank Paul Strack (@pstrack) of CustomXM.com for hitting a homerun with the name badges. Paul had expressed his desire to do this for the community but we weren’t expecting them until August and then Paul pulled it off for July. The badges were perfect. Getting good preprinted name badges for our meetups can be a real challenge but we recognize that this helps people identify and connect with others. We are very grateful for Paul sacrificing his company’s time and resources just to make these nametags available. We may be able to build on this for next time so you want to make sure that you RSVP to our next LRTweetup. As we have already hinted we’ve got some more cool things in the works.

If you are looking for On-Demand, Web to Print, or Targeted Marketing services you need to look no further than CustomXM. Central Arkansas is fortunate to have such an innovative and personable organization right in our back yard. Thanks to Paul and CustomXM for their service to LRTweetup.

We’d also like to thank those that work behind the scenes to organize and plan these events. Bryan Jones (@BryanJones) of CJRW (@cjrwInteractive), Natalie Ghidotti (@ghidotti) of Ghidotti Communications, Angel Galloway (@Angelmg) from the Arkansas Repertory Theatre (@theRep), and Lance Turner (@LT)from Arkansas Business (@ArkBusiness).

Last and not least we want to THANK YOU! You have made this the most interesting and vibrant community in Central Arkansas and its a joy to be able to help you connect with others. Thanks LRTweetup!
