Lights over #LRTweetup this Saturday

This Saturday is a very special LRTweetup. LRTweetup is travelling to Garvan Woodland Gardens’ to enjoy “Lights on the Landscape”.

Lights on the Landscape is a breathtaking display of 1.7 million lights that transforms these beautiful gardens into a winter wonderland. This is one of the can’t miss events of the season. If you’ve never had the pleasure of seeing these lights you are in for a real treat.

The time to don your party hats and spread the holiday cheer has arrived! We’ve been tweeting and re-tweeting all the exciting details about our next big LRTweetup, and now it’s time to get the party started. We hope you’ll join us tomorrow, Dec. 10, at I.O. Metro as we eat, drink and tweet merrily!

io-ourlogo

@IOmetro will open the doors of its newly remodeled store in West Little Rock (12911 Cantrell Road) to members and guests of the LRTweetup community on this fun-filled evening in order to help spread the word and raise money for Our House, Little Rock’s shelter for the working homeless. In case you missed the tweets, I.O. Metro is doing a @ProjectOurHouse promotion from Dec. 11-18, and a portion of ALL sales at IOM for that week will go to Our House!

In addition to the Our House promotion, I.O. Metro is offering a 25% discount to all LRTweetup attendees! To sweeten the deal, they’ll be providing FREE food and beverage starting at 5:30 p.m., so come out and get your tweet on while you enjoy some awesome people, amazing furniture, and mingle with folks from the @ProjectOurHouse team and Our House staff!

RSVP, get directions, and add this event to your calendar with our twtvite invitation.

Taking the Tweetup Statewide

It’s no secret that the #LRTweetup community rocks. In less than a year we’ve become one of the best ways to connect in Central Arkansas and we think its time to expand. It’s time to take the tweetup gospel statewide.

Introducing ArkansasTweetup.com

Inspired by the success of LRTweetup we want to facilitate tweetups all across the Natural State. We want to organize and promote any existing tweetups and encourage people to start new ones.

And we need your help to spread the word.

Since most of you are already involved in LRTweetup we’d like you to help tell the rest of the state about #ARtweetup. If you have twitter friends and connections in other parts of the state would you mind sending them a tweet?

In addition you can click the image below to RT.
