We are the nerve center of the Central Arkansas Twitter community. We are a connection catalyst. We are a community.

Our Mission is to help you build personal and professional connections.

We are also a new breed of civic group. We support local charities through fund-raising and awareness campaigns and we are deeply committed to giving back to Central Arkansas.

Our History

In May 2009 two friends, @ghidotti and @angelmg, decided to organize a local meetup to celebrate reaching 400 followers. The word was spread and when we arrived at Sticky Fingerz that spring we all realized that we were instantly among friends. In the months since #LRtweetup has grown into an amazing community. It’s surpassed anything we could have imagined and we are just getting started.

#LRtweetup is about people and that means it is about you. So whether you are a social media veteran or new to Twitter you’re already at home with #LRtweetup.
